Duties Lead and manage the bar and service staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a lively setting. Oversee daily operations including order taking, beverage preparation, and cash handling using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Develop and refine beverage recipes, craft cocktails, and promote wine, spirits, and craft beer offerings to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Manage inventory levels for beverages and supplies; coordinate with vendors for timely stock replenishment. Train staff on proper serving techniques, mixology skills, POS usage, and customer service excellence. Process cash transactions accurately while maintaining accountability for all financial activities during shifts. Support event catering, banquet service, and special functions to maximize revenue opportunities. Foster a positive team environment through coaching, motivation, and recognition of staff achievements. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in processing cash transactions and retail math. Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and brewing processes. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy hospitality setting; excellent organizational skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; adept at handling diverse guest needs in fine dining or casual environments. Solid understanding of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and alcohol service regulations. Previous restaurant management experience with a focus on bar operations; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to lead a team efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality industry practices. Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling; familiarity with retail math concepts.
