Summit is seeking a reliable Commissary Attendant to support daily operations of our commissary. In this role, you will stock and rotate inventory, prepare and package grab-and-go items, and maintain a clean, organized environment. You'll operate the POS, handle cash and electronic payments, and provide friendly, efficient service to guests or internal staff. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, monitoring product freshness, following food safety and sanitation standards, and completing basic inventory tasks. This position is ideal for detail-oriented team players who enjoy fast-paced, service-focused work. Responsibilities Stock and replenish commissary shelves, coolers, and displays according to planograms and rotation standards Operate POS system, handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of commissary, storage, and prep areas Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with basic ordering or restocking requests Prepare and package snacks, beverages, and grab-and-go items following food safety guidelines Provide friendly, efficient customer service and respond to product questions Inspect products for freshness, proper labeling, and quality standards Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures, including opening/closing checklists Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries Support periodic inventory counts and basic recordkeeping Required Skills Point-of-sale (POS) operation Cash handling and reconciliation Inventory stocking and rotation Basic food preparation and packaging Food safety and sanitation (Serv Safe standards) Customer service in retail or food service Receiving and inspecting deliveries Merchandising and product display Basic recordkeeping and inventory counts Use of commercial coolers and storage equipment
