Responsibilities Lead food production and preparation processes, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met. Supervise kitchen staff, managing shifts effectively and fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and optimize food costs. Implement and maintain food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Plan menus that align with dietary requirements, guest preferences, and seasonal ingredients. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, delivering exceptional service in high-pressure situations. Manage food service operations, including overseeing food handling, serving, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes. Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, cost control, and adherence to safety standards. Train staff on culinary techniques, food presentation, and safety protocols to promote continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in banquet cooking, fine dining kitchens, or restaurant management with a strong culinary background. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. Extensive food industry knowledge including food production, menu planning, and kitchen management. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and catering operations is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory control, and cost management practices. Excellent cooking skills complemented by experience in food service management and hospitality environments. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
