Job Summary Join our team as a Sushi Roller, in this role, you will be responsible for rolling and assembling sushi to meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Skillfully roll and assemble sushi using traditional techniques, ensuring consistency and visual appeal Prepare ingredients such as fish, vegetables, rice, and seaweed according to established recipes and safety standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations following food safety sanitizing procedures Operate kitchen equipment including sushi mats, knives, rice cookers, and refrigeration units safely and efficiently Assist with food production tasks like poaching, braising, grilling, and meal preparation to support overall kitchen operations Follow recipe adherence meticulously to ensure authentic flavor profiles and presentation standards Support the culinary team in high-volume production environments, maintaining efficiency during busy service hours Requirements Previous experience in food handling or dietary aide roles preferred; experience with menu planning is a plus Strong knife skills and familiarity with food safety management practices essential for quality sushi preparation Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings demonstrating attention to detail and high standards of food presentation Knowledge of food industry best practices including food safety sanitizing procedures and operating kitchen equipment Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on safety and quality Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are vital for seamless collaboration within the kitchen team Prior catering or serving experience is advantageous but not required

Pay:
