Elevated Internal Medicine | Highlands Ranch, Colorado Elevated Internal Medicine is looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant to join our small, highly personalized concierge internal medicine practice. We are not a high-volume medical office, and this is not a traditional MA role. Our practice was built around a simple belief: excellent medical care should feel personal, thoughtful, calm, and connected. We intentionally care for a smaller number of patients so that we can know them well, anticipate their needs, and provide the kind of experience that is increasingly difficult to find in healthcare. We call this The Elevated Way . Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is warm, capable, organized, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people. The right person notices what needs to be done without always needing to be asked. They follow through. They communicate clearly. They pay attention to details. And when the office gets busy, they can stay calm, prioritize, and continue treating patients and coworkers with kindness. You don't need to know everything on day one. We can teach systems and workflows. What is much harder to teach is judgment, ownership, warmth, and a genuine desire to help. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our physician and the rest of our small team to help provide highly coordinated care.

Responsibilities include:

Rooming patients and preparing them for visits Obtaining accurate vital signs and medication histories Assisting with blood draws, injections, EKGs, and other in-office testing Preparing exam rooms and maintaining clinical supplies Helping coordinate laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, and follow-up care Communicating with patients by phone and through the patient portal Assisting with prescription and prior-authorization workflows Tracking outstanding clinical tasks so that things don't fall through the cracks Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Helping the physician stay prepared and organized throughout the clinical day Supporting teammates when the office needs an extra set of hands Looking for ways to make the patient experience and our internal systems better Because we are a small practice, "that's not my job" isn't really part of our vocabulary. Experience with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, electronic medical records, prior authorizations, and care coordination is helpful. More important than having done every task before is being teachable, conscientious, clinically curious, and committed to doing things well.
