Job Description
Job description: We are looking for a Catering Prep cook to join our culinary team of professionals! This is a great opportunity for job security and long term growth!! This job requires flexible availability. Primary work hours 6 am - 2pm but definitely some nights and weekends will be required. MUST have own reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of cooking procedures
- Able to back up cooks
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Catering Experience Preferred.
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
- The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Must work with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able speak, read and understand basic cooking directions
