Berryville, VA 22611 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team in Berryville, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an assisted living environment and possess a strong commitment to food safety and quality. This role requires following recipes accurately, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring proper food handling and portion control during meal preparation and service. Responsibilities Meal preparation in accordance with standardized menu options Service of plated meals Create special menu requests as they arise Personal interaction with residents at every meal. Adapt meals as needed to suit special dietary needs Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting. ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training. Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately. Strong knowledge of proper food safety and handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
