Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and cleaning workstations to support the culinary team Bypass dirty dishes efficiently by bussing tables and clearing used items from service areas Follow strict food safety management practices to ensure sanitation standards are upheld at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning tools while adhering to health and safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
