Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic approach will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for service. Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Clear and bus tables promptly during service to maintain a clean dining environment Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies safely in accordance with kitchen health and safety standards Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment responsibly and correctly Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and overall kitchen sanitation standards Support food handling procedures ensuring compliance with food safety management protocols Skills Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitizing procedures within a restaurant or catering environment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy kitchen setting Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards including sanitation requirements Experience with dishwashing equipment operation and manual handling techniques Basic knife skills for assisting with food preparation when required Familiarity with food handling protocols for maintaining hygiene during service Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop culinary skills while supporting a vibrant team.
