Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and organizing supplies to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly to uphold sanitation standards. Support food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Buse tables and clear dishes from dining areas promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances as trained. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies safely while following proper ergonomic practices. Experience Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is a plus. Basic knife skills or experience with food preparation techniques will be advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
