Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed, including ingredient handling and assembly of simple menu items. Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area and support smooth service flow. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning tools, adhering to all safety protocols. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies safely in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces regularly. Support overall sanitation efforts by following strict food safety management practices to prevent contamination or hazards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy objects such as crates or large quantities of dishes. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like commercial dishwashers and cleaning tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
