Boutique Fitness / Health & Wellness Position Overview BÜNDA Sacramento is seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven Manager in Training to join our leadership team. The Manager in Training will work directly with studio leadership to learn all aspects of successfully operating a BÜNDA studio, including sales, lead management, member retention, team development, studio operations, community engagement, and leadership . This is a hands-on developmental leadership position designed for someone who has the ability and desire to grow into increased management responsibility within BÜNDA. The ideal candidate is energetic, accountable, highly organized, comfortable with sales, passionate about fitness, and capable of developing and leading others. Sales & Membership Growth The Manager in Training will learn and assist in executing BÜNDA's sales process and membership-growth strategy. Responsibilities include generating and converting leads through phone, text, digital inquiries, community outreach, studio events, referrals, and local partnerships; delivering an exceptional first-time-visitor experience; presenting memberships; overcoming objections; following up with prospects; and helping the studio achieve established KPIs, conversion targets, membership goals, and revenue goals . This role will also help create a high-energy sales culture among the front desk and training teams while ensuring that sales remain authentic, goal-focused, and centered around helping prospective members understand the value of the BÜNDA program. Studio Operations The Manager in Training will learn and support all major components of daily studio operations, including: Ensuring compliance with BÜNDA policies, procedures, and SOPs Proper member check-in and first-time-visitor procedures Phone, text, email, and digital lead management Membership sales and customer-care calls Payment handling and delinquent-account procedures Membership changes, freezes, and cancellation requests Maintaining studio cleanliness, appearance, and organization Inventory, ordering, timekeeping, and basic facility management Supporting class schedule optimization and class-size growth Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing employee development Helping identify operational issues and taking ownership of solutions The Manager in Training should maintain a strong physical presence in the studio and be willing to work a schedule that supports the needs of the business, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends . Leadership & Team Development This position is expected to develop into a strong leadership presence within BÜNDA Sacramento. The Manager in Training will learn how to coach, develop, motivate, and evaluate employees , reinforce accountability, communicate studio goals, and help the team consistently execute BÜNDA standards. Responsibilities may include participating in employee evaluations, assisting with staff meetings and training, helping onboard new employees, observing studio operations and classes, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring company resources and SOPs are being utilized effectively. The Manager in Training will help: Provide an exceptional level of customer service Develop genuine relationships with members Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently Create studio events and community-building initiatives Maintain an energetic and welcoming studio environment Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations Represent the BÜNDA brand professionally both inside and outside the studio Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: 1-2 years of leadership, management, sales, fitness, hospitality, or customer-service experience Fitness industry experience strongly preferred Personal training or group fitness certification is a plus Strong interest in health, fitness, and wellness Proven ability or strong potential to lead and motivate a team Comfortable with membership sales, lead follow-up, and asking for the sale Excellent verbal and written communication Highly organized with strong attention to detail Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented Comfortable being held accountable to measurable KPIs Ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable receiving coaching and constructive feedback Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as business needs require High school diploma or equivalent required Growth Opportunity This is not intended to be simply a front-desk position.
