About The Drew The Drew brings a fresh boutique hospitality experience to Plymouth, combining thoughtful design with access to everything that makes the destination special - the harbor, local dining, historic attractions, shops, and the energy of downtown. As part of the opening team, the Sales & Events Manager will have a unique opportunity to help establish The Drew's sales culture, build local partnerships, and shape how groups, weddings, celebrations, retreats, and corporate guests experience the hotel. Manage sales inquiries, leads, and bookings from initial contact through execution
Develop wedding, social, corporate, and group business for a newly opening property
Create proposals, contracts, correspondence, and sales materials
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process
Build strong relationships with local businesses, planners, organizations, and community partners
Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure successful event and group execution
Maintain accurate records within Tripleseat and other sales platforms
Assist with room blocks, group logistics, and guest accommodations
Support follow-up communication and lead-conversion efforts
Help establish sales processes and standards as part of The Drew's opening team
Provide weekly reporting to the Property General Manager and Regional Sales Manager
Serve as an on-site leader and collaborative member of the hotel team Qualifications
Detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with a passion for hospitality, sales, and events
Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in hospitality, sales, events, or a related field
Proven ability to manage client relationships and convert leads into business
Knowledge of hotel sales, group business, weddings, and event operations
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Natural leader who works effectively across departments
Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills
