Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Bowling League and Event Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and management of competitive leagues, tournaments, and special events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive engagement within our community by creating memorable experiences through meticulous event planning, effective team leadership, and strategic marketing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment & possess excellent communication skills. Our ideal candidate has substantial experience with the sport of bowling and/or relative sport league competitions. • Hourly wage, bonuses based on results & tips. Compensation and typical tip range will be discussed during the interview. Duties Coordinate the development and execution of league schedules, tournaments, and special events from conception to completion. Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Utilize event management software to streamline registration processes, schedule logistics, and communicate with participants. Lead team efforts in event marketing through social media campaigns, email outreach, and community engagement strategies to maximize attendance and participation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing participant inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive client relationships via CRM systems. Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements Proven experience in event planning within the hospitality or sports industry; banquet or restaurant experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with familiarity with CRM systems. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards for events. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities. Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and vendor negotiations. Experience in guest services or hospitality roles that involve customer engagement and problem resolution. Ability to lead teams confidently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Knowledge of fundraising strategies or sponsorship acquisition is advantageous but not required.
