Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Kitchen Prep & Salad Preparer to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh salads, vegetables, and other ingredients with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations will ensure that our food presentation is appealing, nutritious, and served in a timely manner. Duties Prepare fresh salads, vegetables, and ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications Prepare multiple types of noodles and sauces as needed Operate various kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, blenders, and food processors Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all preparation processes Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Assist with meal preparation for catering events or daily service needs Support kitchen staff by organizing ingredients, stocking supplies, and cleaning workstations regularly Adhere strictly to safety standards in production areas and maintain compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to coordinate prep tasks efficiently Qualifications Proven experience in a culinary or food industry setting, with a focus on salad or cold prep work Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with food service operations within restaurants or catering environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in production and food handling procedures Join us if you're passionate about creating fresh, delicious salads and supporting a team committed to excellence. • Must be available to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays and holidays as needed. This is a mixed position. Assigned position will be rotated between salad preparer and a prep as needed. Please email your resume if you are interested.
