In this role, you'll be the friendly face and efficient coordinator behind our take-out and curbside orders, ensuring guests receive their meals quickly and accurately. You'll be a key player in creating a seamless dining experience for our guests from the moment they place their order to when they pick it up or it's ready for delivery. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with take-out orders both in person and over the phone. Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate order pickups to ensure timely service. Use restaurant table management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to relay special requests, dietary needs, or order modifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the take-out station and ensure food safety standards are met. Handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette while taking orders or answering guest inquiries. Support guest relations by providing friendly, efficient service and addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are essential for managing multiple orders smoothly. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing order totals. Experience in hospitality or guest services helps in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Knowledge of food safety practices ensures that all food handling meets health standards.
