Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions about the menu or restaurant services. Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the dining experience. Requirements Previous Host/Host experience preferred; food service or restaurant experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in hotel or guest services is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality and serving others.
