The Host will promptly welcome every guest to the restaurant and escort them to their table. The Host is to ensure that all guests' needs and expectations are exceeded, and to efficiently and effectively resolve any issues to the guest's satisfaction. S/he will be responsible for the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests and patrons personally as they enter the establishment Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette Accept to-go orders over the telephone Receive and record dining reservations on the telephone Ensure the proper setup of dining room Ensure dining room seating is controlled and that there is server parity in number of tables Ensure neatness and cleanliness of stations. Present menus, make recommendations and take orders if necessary Assist other food and beverage staff when necessary Liaise between staff and customers to ensure great service Ensure personal appearance is neat and professional Anticipate and address guests' service needs Assist individuals with disabilities Thank guests with genuine appreciation Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
