Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vital role, you will create a positive and memorable experience by managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive until they leave. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries Maintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols in all interactions Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and cash handling if needed Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts Join our team to deliver exceptional guest services in a lively, welcoming atmosphere!
