Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, creating a positive first impression for every guest. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations and waitlists efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service. As a cashier, you will handle transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hospitality with operational support, contributing to a lively and memorable guest experience. Duties Warmly greet guests upon arrival, offering assistance and guiding them to their tables or reservations Manage reservation bookings and waitlists with efficiency and professionalism Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information or taking reservations as needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments swiftly and accurately Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Collaborate with the restaurant team to coordinate seating arrangements and guest flow during busy hours Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
