About Us:

Oggie's Sports Bar & Grille, located inside The Lodge at Deadwood, is a high-energy restaurant known for great food and exceptional service. We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Host to help ensure our guests feel welcome and the dining room is managed efficiently.

Position Summary:

The Host serves as the communication link between the guests and front-of-house team. This role is responsible for greeting guests, coordinating the seating, taking takeout orders and employee orders from all departments, and answering phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests and set the tone for their experience Manage the seating chart and accommodate special requests Respond to guests' inquiries and requests in person and over the phone Organize reservations and wait-lists Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room Assist with other FOH duties

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant or host experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Keen attention to detail and presentation Team player with a positive attitude Availability for morning shifts, night shifts, including weekends and holidays
