Core Responsibilities Guest Relations:
Provide a warm, professional welcome, acknowledge IHG One Rewards members, and anticipate guest needs to make everyone feel at home.
Reservations & Billing:
Process bookings, handle secure payments, issue room keys, and settle bills accurately using the hotel's property management computer system.
Communication & Support:
Answer phone inquiries, share local area knowledge, and resolve any guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Department Coordination:
Coordinate daily with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure ready rooms and swift problem resolution.
Lobby Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk, lobby environment, coffee station, and public restrooms.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
Experience:
Prior customer service, receptionist, or front desk experience (ideally one year in hospitality) is preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal communication, basic math, computer literacy, and calm problem-solving abilities under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Schedule Flexibility:
Availability to work flexible shifts, including 7AM
- 3PM, 3PM
- 11PM, weekends, and holidays.
