Support food preparation activities following food safety sanitizing procedures and kitchen health standards. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring cleanliness in dining and service areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other utensils, adhering to food safety management protocols. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while maintaining proper safety procedures. Maintain sanitation standards through dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing kitchen tools regularly. Follow all food handling regulations to ensure the safety of guests and staff during service. Support banquet or special event setups by assisting with food service logistics and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude. Experience with dishwashing, cleaning routines, and maintaining high standards of hygiene in a fast-paced setting. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
