Position Summary The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service while managing front desk operations at the hotel. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience throughout the guest's stay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure Check guests in and out of the hotel using the property management system Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and professionally Process reservations, cancellations, room changes, and payments accurately Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance shift reports Provide guests with information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and special requests in a timely manner Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous hotel, customer service, or front desk experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel software systems Ability to multitask Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Pay:
Up to $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
