The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure guests receive excellent service and have a memorable experience. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, handling budgets, and implementing hotel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes. Monitor hotel performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff. Schedule shifts and delegate tasks effectively. Foster a positive and productive working environment.
Customer Service:
Address and resolve guest complaints and requests promptly. Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Collect feedback and implement improvements.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures. Oversee revenue management and room pricing strategies.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the hotel complies with health, safety, and legal regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits. Manage emergency procedures and staff preparedness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 1+ years of hotel management or supervisory experience. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Cloudbeds, etc.). Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
