Duties Lead and manage the entire housekeeping department, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff. Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning protocols aligned with industry standards for sanitation, safety regulations, and quality assurance. Oversee daily operations involving industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and janitorial tasks to ensure consistent cleanliness across all areas. Monitor team performance through regular inspections and audits; provide coaching to enhance efficiency and service quality. Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and sanitation products to optimize resources. Foster a culture of safety by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular training sessions on proper cleaning techniques and hazard prevention. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial supervision within hospitality or commercial settings. Strong background in cleaning operations including industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and janitorial services. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams of varying sizes; excellent team management capabilities. Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols. Exceptional managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff and other departments. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding cleanliness standards.
