Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Hilton brand standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service excellence. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel's quality assurance goals by inspecting rooms, assisting with training, and supporting the housekeeping team as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet company cleanliness standards. Verify that all assigned rooms are ready for occupancy and meet brand presentation requirements before releasing them for guest use. Provide coaching and feedback to Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Housepersons to maintain quality and consistency. Document inspection results and report deficiencies or maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper or Maintenance team. Assist with training and mentoring new housekeeping team members. Support daily operations as needed, including: cleaning guest rooms to brand standard when required, assisting in the laundry department, performing Houseperson duties such as delivering linen, removing trash, or replenishing supplies. Ensure housekeeping carts and closets are properly stocked and organized. Maintain open communication with the Front Desk and other departments regarding room status, guest requests, and service needs. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and provide excellent internal and external guest service. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or management team. Requirements Previous housekeeping experience in hotel environments is required; inspection experience preferred. Basic computer or PMS knowledge preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Great communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Willingness to work weekends and holidays. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
