Duties Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, fostering a motivated and efficient team dedicated to delivering top-tier cleanliness and service. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with safety regulations and sanitation best practices. Oversee daily cleaning operations, including industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and custodial tasks across all areas of the facility. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, use of cleaning equipment, and adherence to health standards. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed to ensure seamless operations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation standards, safety regulations, and hotel or hospitality industry requirements. Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to maintain a high-performing team committed to excellence. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping management with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, sanitation procedures, and commercial cleaning practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable; knowledge of laundry operations is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to address guest or client concerns promptly and professionally. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
