The Bobcat/Trailer Cleaner is responsible for cleaning out the trailers once they are backed to the raw dock, using a skid steer and getting them cleaned up ready to go back out to the customer. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Unloads raw material trailers that cannot be dumped with a lift. Prepares trailer after unloading to be ready to go back out to customer using a pressure washer etc. Performs various tasks related to the operation of the facility in terms of general labor. Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. Aware of, have received training and is responsible for maintaining Darling's Food Safety program Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in the operation of machinery. Preferred Qualifications Good oral and written communications skills; able to follow oral and written directions. Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Frequently exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, varying temperatures, and biohazardous conditions. Requires prolonged sitting and movement throughout office/work locations, as well as occasional use of computers and office equipment. Must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance. Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards. Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
