Monday-Friday, Evening Shift The Thoughtful Cleaners LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Cleaning Supervisor / Lead Cleaner to help oversee our evening cleaning operations at a local school facility. This is a hands-on position . You will have your own assigned cleaning responsibilities while also helping ensure that the rest of the cleaning team completes their work properly and on time. Responsibilities Clean your assigned building/area each evening Perform a nightly quality-control check of other assigned cleaning areas Make sure classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, carpets, and common areas are cleaned properly Make sure cleaning supplies, paper products, trash bags, and other materials are stocked Check that scheduled employees arrive and complete their assigned shifts Communicate with employees regarding attendance, assignments, and cleaning expectations Report any attendance, performance, supply, or building issues directly to management Help coordinate coverage if an employee is absent Make sure lights are turned off, doors are secured, and cleaning equipment is properly stored Maintain professional communication with management and other team members Take initiative when something needs to be corrected rather than waiting to be asked Schedule This position will generally work: Monday-Friday Approximately 5 hours per evening Typical evening hours may begin around 4:00-6:00 PM , depending on school activities and cleaning needs. Occasional additional hours may be available when extra cleaning or coverage is needed. Pay $17.50 per hour What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Is extremely dependable and punctual Takes pride in doing quality work Is comfortable giving respectful direction to other employees Can hold team members accountable without creating unnecessary conflict Communicates problems quickly instead of ignoring them Works independently without constant supervision Pays attention to small details Can manage their time effectively Is willing to take ownership of the overall cleanliness of the account Understands that being a supervisor means both cleaning and leading Previous commercial cleaning or supervisory experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, and work ethic. Important This is not a position for someone who only wants to complete their individual cleaning assignment and leave. We are specifically looking for someone who is willing to take responsibility for the overall success of the evening cleaning team , communicate with management, check the quality of the work, and help make sure the facility is ready for the next school day.
