Job Description
Overview We are seeking a cleaning technician for Medical Facilities in the Henry County, Indiana area. The cleaning technician is responsible for performing cleaning duties according to client specifications and procedures.
Some duties include:
Dusting, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing and buffing floors Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom sinks, vanities, commodes and mirrors Emptying garbage bins Refilling supplies as needed Cleaning buildings for move-in/move-out
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Ability to work independently and without supervision Possess a customer service mindset to serve clients in a professional, cooperative and courteous manner Possess good communication skills in order to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional manner Ability to use diplomacy and tact and maintain good relations with employees
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to pass a background check Much be able to pass a drug screening High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required At least one year of previous commercial cleaning experience required
Minimum Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Job involves standing for long periods of time, bending, walking, crouching, twisting, reaching above one's head, getting in and out of vehicles, etc. Lifting materials of up to 50 pounds Using backpack vacuum weighing up to 10 pounds and mechanical floor buffer Visual capability is required to adequately inspect the results of cleaning Working environment is generally quiet, after a client business closes, often during evening and weekend hours Working environment includes the use of various chemicals
Schedule and Hours:
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week Primarily evenings and weekends
