Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition. Handle chemical agents safely, following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety. Conduct light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, or minor repairs to keep facilities in optimal condition. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure workplace safety. Maintain sanitation standards in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques. Assist with custodial experience tasks like floor care, buffing, industrial cleaning, or residential painting as needed to support overall facilities maintenance. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety protocol guidelines. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation standards and safety procedures. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary. Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
