Conduct heavy lifting tasks with proper safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Operate cleaning machinery including vacuums, floor buffers, and scrubbers to ensure efficient cleaning processes. Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Support industrial cleaning projects or residential painting tasks when required to ensure versatile service delivery. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests and addressing facility needs professionally. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning standards. Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices. Strong attention to sanitation standards and facility maintenance protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Experience in industrial cleaning or Porter roles is advantageous for versatile task management. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure working environment.
