Luxury apartment buildings consisting of luxury rentals and hotel suites located in Westbury, NY, has a unique opportunity for a Temporary, Per Diem, building Porter. Candidate must be able to present a professional image, excellent communication and strong organizational skills required. The qualified candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter that can work independently or as part of a team.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Principal Duties:

1. Breakfast clean up support. 2. Cleaning Fitness center and organizing throughout the day. 3. Assisting Pool Attendant with washing/stocking towels. 4. Ensuring public restrooms are checked through the day and stocked, especially by the pool area. 5. Assist with Guest Room Turnover (stripping hotel linen) as needed 6. Assist with hotel linen wash, dry, and fold. 7. Remove garbage from hotel rooms. 8. Sweep and mop hallways, vacuum carpets, and clean bathrooms 9. Other duties as assigned. Position requires frequent bending and occasional lifting

Skills and Attributes:

1. Must have at least at least one year of experience as a Porter 2. Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment 3. Excellent verbal communication skills 4. Basic mechanical skills 5. Availability to work in shifts and have flexibility to work weekends, evenings and Holidays as needed 6. Excellent customer service skills 7. Hotel experience is a plus 8. Experience with quick Guest Room turnover for check-in is a + 9. High school diploma

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
