Job Type:

Part-time, Full-time The primary duties of kennel workers are:

• taking care of the pets within the hospital
• cleaning within the hospital As kennel workers you will be tasked with caring for the pets in the hospital and the boarding kennel.

That care involves walking the dogs 5 times a day, feeding/watering, and cleaning up messes. Also, kennel workers are responsible for alerting the treatment staff about anything out of the ordinary for pets boarding such as diarrhea or vomiting. Kennel workers are also responsible for much of the general cleaning around the hospital. Cleaning duties include (but are not limited to) cleaning cages, dishes, floors, laundry, restrooms and general cleaning as directed.
