Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, following proper chemical handling safety procedures Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Conduct sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure compliance with health standards. Follow safety protocol adherence during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling practices to prevent injuries Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care (including buffing), and sanitation standards Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude Join our team to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
