Job Description
About Us Wize VRM is a locally-owned vacation rental management company serving the northern Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas and surrounding areas. We manage short-term rental properties for third-party owners and also own vacation rentals. We're growing, and we're building a dedicated cleaning crew to match — one that's well cared for, well paid, and sticks around. The Role We're hiring cleaners to join our growing cleaning crew, working across our portfolio in Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Sequim, Port Angeles, Poulsbo, and Kingston. You'll typically be assigned properties within a reasonable driving distance of where you're based. You'll primarily handle turnover cleans for our vacation rental properties between guest stays. To help build steady, reliable hours year-round, we'll also supplement with residential cleaning jobs. What You'll Do Perform thorough turnover cleans between guest stays — bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas Strip and remake beds; launder and restock linens and towels Restock guest supplies (toiletries, paper products, coffee, etc.) Follow property-specific checklists to ensure each home is guest-ready before check-in Inspect the property for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues and report them promptly Take photos to confirm completed work Clean guest-frequented outdoor areas — porches, decks, walkways, and BBQ grills (no landscaping required) Take on occasional residential (non-rental) cleaning jobs to round out your schedule What We're Looking For Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license — you'll be assigned properties within a reasonable driving distance across our Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Sequim, Port Angeles, Poulsbo, and Kingston service area. Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person. Must pass a background check. Strong attention to detail and pride in your work. Trustworthy and comfortable working independently in guests' and owners' homes. A smartphone for scheduling and photo documentation. Flexibility to work any day of the week — vacation rental cleaning is 7-day-a-week work, since turnovers happen every day, including weekends and holidays. Scheduled days off will vary week to week based on the cleaning calendar. Pay & Schedule We pay above the local average, with an opportunity for an increase after an 8-12 month probationary period. Pay is structured either hourly or per job, depending on the type of cleaning engagement. We're building toward regular part-time and full-time schedules as our property portfolio grows. Some on-call, as-needed positions are also available for those who prefer flexible work. Because turnovers happen daily, you should be available to work any day of the week — including weekends and holidays. Days off are scheduled but will vary from week to week.
