Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the customer facing customer service along with an outgoing personality. Duties include cash handling, setting up and maintaining the dining room, running food, preparing to-go orders, prep work as needed, washing dishes. Must be a team player! Part time hours Tuesday - Saturday. Lunch Shift, 10/10:30am-3pm. We are open 11am-8pm Tues, Wed, Thurs. 11am-9pm Friday and Saturday. Closed Sunday, Monday, major holidays. Duties Assist in Preparing sandwiches, Pastas and salads Handle food preparation tasks including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and other prep Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages or needed supplies to management. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of the food served. Skills Accuracy in handling cash and customer orders. Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Experience with knife skills for efficient chopping and slicing of ingredients. Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong teamwork skills, with a willingness to help fellow kitchen staff as needed. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques within the food service industry.
