$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Job Summary Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our environmental services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, patients, and staff. Schedule Full-time Shift:
Day/Evening shifts available Schedule includes a weekday and weekend rotation Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, hallways, and offices according to healthcare sanitation standards. Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors. Empty trash and biohazard waste receptacles safely and dispose of contents properly. Replenish room supplies, including soap, paper towels, and tissues. Maintain and organize cleaning carts and supplies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Adhere to all infection control policies, safety guidelines, and company procedures. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting, but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team. Reliable attendance and flexibility for the weekend rotation schedule.
