Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene. Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and polishing to preserve flooring quality. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Use janitorial equipment effectively for cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and outdoor areas as needed. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and respect for privacy. Experience Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools. Knowledge of various cleaning agents including disinfectants, detergents, and stain removers. Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or patios. Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks promptly without compromising quality. Prior custodial or janitorial experience demonstrating reliability and attention to detail is highly valued. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.
