Job Summary Best Western is looking for energetic, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeepers / Housepeople to join our team. Our property features 61 rooms—including Single Kings, Double Queens, and King Suites. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team that ensures our guest rooms, public spaces, and outdoor grounds are spotless, well-maintained, and welcoming. Because our housekeeping staff shares general houseperson and grounds duties, this position offers a great variety of work beyond standard room cleaning!

Key Responsibilities Guest Room Cleaning:

Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms to brand standards. Maintain an efficient pace to complete an average daily workload of 12-18 rooms per shift while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Linen & Supply Management:

Change bed linens, replace towels, replenish room amenities, and restock housekeeping carts.

Grounds & Houseperson Duties:

Assist team members with light exterior groundskeeping (perimeter trash pickup, sweeping entryways, maintaining outdoor guest areas) and keeping public space areas tidy.

Deep Cleaning & Maintenance:

Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly to management; perform periodic deep-cleaning projects.

Team Collaboration:

Work efficiently alongside fellow team members to complete daily room boards and grounds tasks smoothly.

Shift & Schedule Requirements Type:

Part-Time (Day shifts starting at 9:00 AM).

Weekend Requirement:

Saturdays and Sundays are required.

Physical Demands:

Must be comfortable walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 30-50 lbs, and working both indoors and outdoors as needed. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age due to equipment handling, grounds work, and full-time/weekend shift requirements. Previous hotel housekeeping, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic! Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet daily room completion goals. High level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
