Our housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere our guests expect when staying with us. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest suites and hotel areas in accordance with hotel and brand cleanliness standards. From fresh linens and sparkling bathrooms to ensuring every room is properly stocked and ready for arrival, your attention to detail directly impacts our guests' experience. Duties & Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites according to SpringHill Suites by Marriott and JNR Management standards. Make beds, replace linens, and ensure bedding is clean, properly presented, and guest-ready. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors. Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface flooring as required. Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, windowsills, lamps, televisions, and other room surfaces. Remove trash and properly dispose of waste. Replenish towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest-room amenities. Inspect rooms while cleaning and report maintenance concerns, damages, missing items, or unusual conditions to management. Follow proper procedures for handling lost-and-found items. Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, linen areas, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner. Assist with laundry, linen, houseperson, or other housekeeping responsibilities when operationally necessary. Help maintain the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, stairwells, public areas, and other assigned hotel spaces. Respond professionally and courteously to reasonable guest requests. Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and workplace procedures. Work cooperatively with Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, and hotel management to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests. Complete assigned rooms and responsibilities efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Perform additional duties as assigned based on the operational needs of the hotel. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping, residential cleaning, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required . A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Friendly and professional when interacting with guests and coworkers. Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from management. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment, particularly during high-occupancy periods. Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations. Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movement throughout the shift. Team members must be able to safely operate housekeeping equipment, push a housekeeping cart, handle linens and supplies, and lift or move items associated with normal housekeeping duties.
