Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, and all surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel procedures to prevent accidents and ensure proper chemical handling Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain pristine conditions Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of linens, furniture, or cleaning supplies with proper technique to ensure safety Restock amenities, towels, linens, and supplies to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness Adhere to hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards to promote a safe environment for guests and staff Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents safely following SDS guidelines and perform manual handling tasks effectively Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, vacuuming, and other demanding tasks Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms guest spaces into welcoming retreats!
