Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Clean floors thoroughly using appropriate floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing when necessary. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively. Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathrooms, and outdoor areas if applicable. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the cleaning service. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial or custodial practices. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, mops, and buffers. Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while following proper safety protocols. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their expectations.
