Approximately 5-20 hours per week, based on household needs Position Summary The Part-Time Laundry & Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining laundry and general household cleanliness and organization. The position requires someone who is dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Primary Responsibilities Wash, dry, fold, hang, and organize clothing, towels, bedding, and linens. Sort laundry and properly care for different fabrics and garments. Treat stains and maintain the laundry area in a clean and organized condition. Change bed linens and make beds. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and other surfaces. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Clean kitchens, countertops, appliances, and common areas. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean mirrors and interior glass. Maintain organization of closets, laundry areas, and designated household spaces. Restock household and cleaning supplies and report when supplies are running low. Report maintenance concerns or damaged items. Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks as assigned. Complete other reasonable laundry and housekeeping duties as needed. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, laundry, residential cleaning, or similar experience preferred. Dependable and punctual. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently without continuous supervision. Respectful of household privacy and personal property. Ability to safely use household cleaning products and laundry equipment. Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and perform routine physical tasks. Expectations This is a combined laundry and housekeeping position. The employee should be comfortable transitioning between laundry, routine cleaning, organization, and occasional deep-cleaning duties based on the needs of the household. The goal is to keep the home consistently clean, organized, comfortable, and well maintained, rather than allowing cleaning or laundry to accumulate between visits.
