In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hotel, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Manage laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with proper manual handling techniques. Use vacuuming, floor care, and other cleaning equipment to maintain pristine surfaces across all hotel areas. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, ensuring safety protocols are upheld during all cleaning activities. Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and ensuring all areas meet health regulations. Assist with hotel housekeeping management tasks as needed, supporting team members to deliver exceptional service. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or industrial cleaning setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and effectively while understanding safety data sheets (SDS). Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management procedures and hospitality industry standards. Prior experience in hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is a plus.
