Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning homes, ensuring that our cottages are clean and sanitized to the highest standards.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming and mopping
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
- Follow established housekeeping management procedures
Experience:
- Prior experience in cleaning is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment to be taught on the job
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests Specifics for this position: We have four different properties that are all short-term rentals.
The work day begins at 9:50 a.m. with guests checking-out by 10:00 a.m. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for days when new guests are checking in. The end of the work day is whenever all tasks are completed...typically no later than 4:00 p.m. depending on the number of properties that are being cleaned. I can explain this more clearly in an interview. There will be on-the-job training the first time you clean each property. During training, you will receive $15.00/hour for pay. Once training is over, your hourly pay will increase, to $16.00/hour and will continue to increase commensurate with your skill, ability, independence, and efficiency. There is a $1.00/hour additional pay for weekend work. Since this is a vacation rental and reservations are incoming, I cannot guarantee a certain amount of hours each week or month. It all depends on the amount of guests we receive. Guests also check out on various days of the week

Some work days will be holidays. There will never be any nights. We are very busy during the summer and fall, and we are fairly slow during the winter months, although we still receive reservations. Our business picks up in the spring. At this time, our biggest need is for property number 1, and I am looking for someone who can begin working/training upon hiring. This position is also perfect if you have another job where you work in the evenings and want to pick up some hours during the day. There is 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 queen bunk bed, and 2 twin bunk beds, sleeping a total of 12. There is an outdoor patio with a grill, table, and sectional furniture. Properties 2 and 3: N4194 State Highway 180, Marinette Approximately 675 square foot cottages with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. There is 1 queen bed and 1 full-size bunk bed, sleeping up to 5 guests. There is a small patio and fire-pit area. Property 4: N4194 State Highway 180, Marinette Approximately a 1,300 square foot house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. There is 1 king bed, and 3 queen sized beds, sleeping up to 8 guests. There are 2 patio areas and a fire-pit area.
