Daly Hotel Management is currently recruiting for our facility in Beckley, WV. The Houseman/Maintenance Assistant . We currently have 1 opening. Houseman will be responsible for keeping all area of the hotel clean and guest ready. The assistant maintenance position will be responsible for preventative maintenance of hotel rooms, guest request, hotel grounds, and public areas. Job Responsibilities Performs Houseman responsibilities and tasks including but not limited to: Knowledge of all brand or hotel standards Greet guests and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Assist guests with luggage, amenities, food delivery and related tasks Cleaning of Entryway, Guest Rooms, Hallways, Fitness Center, Pool Areas, Bathrooms and other areas as assigned:

•Deep cleaning tasks as needed - may require Chemical Cleaners Cleaning of rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture Utilizes vacuum, broom and carpet cleaning machinery Cleaning, stocking and organization of supplies and supply storage Cleaning of employee common areas Stocking of Towels and Linens Completion of missing linen reports Preventative maintenance Guest maintenance request Hotel grounds Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times Trash disposal Follows all safety rules and reports all safety concerns timely Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Perform guest turn down service as needed Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures Special projects as assigned my General Manager Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager Commitment to Safety requirements and adornment of all proper PPE and/or uniforms Maintain hotel grounds and pool as required Replace light bulbs in corridors and on building exterior Review maintenance cards from front desk to correct problems that have occurred since the manager prepared the daily work schedule Repair loose door knobs and rotate locks as needed Snow removal services Paint and/or repair damaged walls Clean A/C filters and perform light HVAC maintenance Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to use stairs, bend, squat, stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed 8 hours Ability to lift up to 30 pounds intermittently throughout the course of a normal work day Skills & Attributes - Desired Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent dependability and punctuality a must Positive attitude and teamwork Experience in hospitality preferred but not required Daly Hotel Management is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to creating a powerfully diverse workforce and a broadly inclusive workplace, where everyone can contribute to their fullest potential each day.
