Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques. Manage janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning for daily tasks. Execute manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service during each visit. Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure sanitation standards are met consistently across all areas. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden area cleaning or maintenance tasks. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned duties within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior maintenance or garden area upkeep. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items safely, and performing repetitive motions.
