PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Supports the Restaurant General Manager to ensure outstanding guest service and satisfaction. Helps lead the restaurant team through hiring, training and coaching. Implements and manages restaurant and financial controls with full accountability in the absence of the

Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day. 4. Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory. 5. Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results. (Additional important duties/responsibilities) 6. Meet all operational standards, including speed of service, food safety and cleanliness. 7. Meet positive food and labor variance and take appropriate action to improve results. 8. Utilize all systems and tools, including the Systems Board, RTI Task Lists, Coil Book and Command Center. 9. Receive passing REV grades. 10. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. 11. Work all shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night & weekends) as required by the business. 12. Train all team members using GURU and the Performance Scorecard. 13. Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in

restaurant operations. 14. Provide coaching and feedback to the team. 15. Personally verify accuracy of all food and paper inventories. 16. Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors. 17. Successfully implement all marketing promotions. 18. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. 19. Follow and enforce all cash policies; address and document any policy violations. 20. Follow all government regulations, employment laws, food safety and operations policies and implement all accounting controls. 21. Any / all other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager (RGM). 22. Assume RGM responsibilities in the RGM's absence.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Required Minimum:

High School Diploma or GED Preferred Minimum:

Some college preferred

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Required Minimum:

At least 1 year of experience working in the quick service restaurant industry in management. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license and must be SERV Safe certified. Completion of all BKC certification programs, demonstrate English language proficiency that enables speech expression, clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension. Demonstrate leadership skills. Demonstrate formal understanding of the quick-service industry and the core customer. Ability to recognize and solve routine problems.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND GENERAL DEMANDS

Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; seeing to read a variety of documents; may require sitting for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; bending, stooping or reaching to retrieve or store materials. While performing duties of this role outside the office, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, talk and hear to communicate with employees, and taste/smell. The employee is frequently required to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to sit, climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally exposed to cooking fumes. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.50 per hour
